ShelfSnap is a tool for Whatnot resellers. We collect only what's necessary to make the app work. We do not sell your data — ever.
1. Who We Are
ShelfSnap is a product of WinWin Network Corp. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We operate the ShelfSnap mobile application ("App") and website at shelf-snap.com (collectively, the "Services"). For questions, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide:
- Account information: name, email address, password
- Profile information: display name, Whatnot username (optional)
- Item and batch data: product titles, descriptions, prices, categories, shipping details
- Photos: images you capture or import from your device's camera or photo library
- Payment information: subscription tier and transaction records via Apple In-App Purchases (we do not store credit card numbers — Apple handles payment processing)
- Communications: messages you send to our support team
2.2 Automatically Collected Information:
- Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- App usage data: features used, screens viewed, actions taken, session duration
- Crash reports and diagnostic data
- IP address and approximate location (country/region level)
2.3 Camera and Photo Library:
ShelfSnap requests access to your device's camera and photo library solely to allow you to photograph items for your listings. Photos are stored securely in your account and used only to provide the App's features. We do not analyze, sell, or share your photos with third parties for advertising purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To provide, operate, and improve the Services
- To process and fulfill subscription purchases
- To generate CSV exports and other outputs you request
- To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, subscription receipts)
- To respond to support requests
- To analyze usage patterns and improve product features
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: with third-party vendors who help us operate the Services, including Supabase (database and storage), Apple (in-app purchases and authentication), and analytics providers. These vendors are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us.
- Legal Obligations: when required to comply with applicable law, court order, or governmental request.
- Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our business, with notice provided to affected users.
- With Your Consent: when you explicitly authorize sharing.
- Your Content: item data and photos you choose to export are controlled entirely by you. We do not share your listings with Whatnot or any other platform without your explicit action.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and item/batch records for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law. Photos stored in our systems are deleted upon account deletion.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted storage. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:
- The right to access personal information we hold about you
- The right to request correction of inaccurate information
- The right to request deletion of your personal information
- The right to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based

9. Children's Privacy
ShelfSnap is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete that information promptly.
10. Apple Platform
ShelfSnap is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. In-app purchases are processed by Apple; we receive transaction confirmation but do not receive or store your full payment card details.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, by sending an in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
